Very smooth, writing, dark and bold ink. Sometimes when first starting to write, the ink does not start out on paper. One has to scribble to get the ink flowing.

A refill is a refill ???????
I was gifted a hand made ink pen. It felt so good in my hand that I had to get a refill so I could continue using it. I selected Parker because of its reputation and my experience with Parker fountain pens.
