Inks are expensive. Difficult to get extended use
Far too expensive, AND the G-D printer - MFC-J35645 DW - does not last a a year before you have to start putting ink in - I got only about 8 months - home use...not a home office. I would never recommend a Brother printer from this experience.

Quality ink seems to use less.
Off brand used to 'hang' the printer however Brother branded inks work flawlessly, but expensive.

XL Works Better for Me
Using the LC406XLM is a better choice for heavy everyday user. Save time on changing the Ink Tank. Using these style Ink tanks are superior to any other form of ink replacement.
