Great if your floor is not flat
Appears like this could be good if it can be coerced into laying flat. I have had it under books for a few weeks, need to see if it ever straightened out to lay flat.

Better if not rolled tightly
I have been working the cable protector for days. I am using double sided tape and it still wants to curl up. If not rolled so tight or even a longer box so it was more oval in the box. It is a true pain to try to straiten it out. I got it so I would not trip on the cable but instead I trip on the cable protector. Disappointed.

The way it was rolled up to put in the box makes the last 15-18 inches unusable.

Pliable and Effective
I bought the floor protector to wrap my dad's lamp wires so he wouldn't trip over them. The protector is a little stiff out of the package but in a heated room quickly becomes pliable. I laid it on carpet and it seems to be doing its job well.

won't completely lie flat
This covers the cable well, and it was relatively easy to cut with a box cutter, as advertised. However, it doesn't lie flat on the ground, so it basically defeats the purpose of preventing a tripping hazard.
