Inadequate product
Why am I unable to buy any black ink cartridge LC401.I have done my research and ready to order the corresponding machine, but why would I if I can’t buy black cartridges. I have looked at four different places to order and all are out of stock. I need the machine now, and I can’t have it run out of ink with no cartridges available to purchase.

Washed out pages
The ink prints too light. I have had other Brother printers in the past, and the quality of the printer page was much darker and crisper. The current pages look washed out. I have a Brother laser printer and it is now my default printer. I have put the new black and color cartridges in the printer and it doesn't make any difference.
