8 feet long!
I asked for help in the store. I told them that I needed a short cord to connect my cooling fan to my laptop. I got sent an 8 foot cord. I went elsewhere and found what I needed for much less. I got 2 for less than this one I will never use lesson learned!

Great cable, but I ordered the wrong one
This male to male computer cable is very sturdy and extra long (about 9 feet). However, it does not perform the task I hoped to use it for--namely, to play streaming concerts and shows through my TV set. I didn't do enough research.
