Bedside phone stand
This is a great, inexpensive solution for where to have my cell phone when I go to bed and want to watch videos hands free. The phone rests on two bars such that the charging port is accessible. The phone can easily be rotated for either horizontal or vertical viewing. The base is sturdy so that the stand won’t easily tip over.

Love this for GPS purpose
Since switching my GPS for GoogleMaps on ever larger and larger phones, I haven't found any mounting system (among the several multiple-application models I've bought) that works in my car. Because if its broad base, this sits firmly in my dashboard's CD hatch. It lacks only a restraint to prevent the phone from toppling forward - and that's easily improvised.
