It's decorative around the edges but leaves lots of room for appointments. The hanging device will keep the calendar from ripping while being hung.

Ample room to write appointments on calendar. Fits perfectly on the wall. Had to exchange previously purchased calendars as they were too wide. Unfortunately, even though same price, it was not an even exchange. I lost my coupon discount because associate said he had to return previous purchase and recharge me due to inventory.
