I have no problem with the toner, other than cost. I have a problem with the printer, also purchased from Staples, in that it REQUIRES the use of HP toner. There is insufficient notice on the documentation with the printer to warn the consumer. I have never had problems with after market toner cartridges. Works well, but expensive
The product works well (trouble free); it installs easily; and the toner appears to last. In the past, I’ve always bought toner from HP because of its compatibility with HP printers; However, “original” HP toner is expensive. A compatible product can be purchased from 3rd party vendors for one-third of the price. Therefore the 3-star rating.

Having the best ink in my printer is vital
I use hp products at work and at home to print materials for tutor trainings. Also I have to print out documents for personal use and I can do that from my phone or my laptop. If I have any issues HP is always very helpful.

Old one just keeps on going.
I really am waiting for the existing (old) cartridge to finish printing. More than a month ago, I was warned that the toner lever was very low. I placed an order but the printer has printed several hundred pages and still is doing well. I will wait until it fails.

Excellent cartridge
Excellent printing, prints many many pages without problems, print more than 10,000 pages of tax forms, print multiple pages at a time without problems, have not experience any problems with the print quality. Does not dry up like ink cartridges, Have used a cartridge for more than a half year depending on usage without problems.

Yep, it’s toner!
It fits the printer it’s designed for, and after it’s about one-quarter used, it sends out a message that it’s about out of toner and should be replaced, so feel free to continue to use it until you eventually see white streaks on the pages.
