I wasn't ready for the awesomeness!
This mouse pad has changed my life. It is literally the perfect object for my mouse to rest and glide upon. The dimensions are just right, especially the height--approximately 1/8 of an inch--genius! Ridiculously thin....
Don't bother. Spend a little more and get a better quality mouse pad. This is VERY thin. Also, the mouse doesn't roll over it very smoothly. You get what you pay for :(

simple solution
I received a smaller computer desk with a narrow keyboard tray. This mouse pad enables me to keep the smaller desk since part of it fits below the keyboard.

I believe these are way too thin or something, because in using the mouse, which is also new, it does not connect right if the pad is not flat on the table. If anything gets under the pad, the mouse stops working.
