We purchased a new dishwasher, it came with two of these pods. It also mentions that this product received a Good Housekeeping seal. The fist pod ruined the finish on our stainless steel cheese grater. When we ran the dishwasher with the second pod it started to do the same thing to our stainless flatware. Do not recommend
O bout this thinking it would be great. I hate it. The smell is so strong I can’t even be in the kitchen when the dishwasher is on. You can taste it when you drink from your cup. I even rinsed the cups out with fresh water and still it takes over the flavor. I spent all of the money I had on these and can’t buy more. So I am past disappointment.

Terrific!
This product is amazing! I find my dishes and pots come out spotless. I have also used the pacs to remove stains from my white Corian sink. I just fill the sink with hot water and put in one pac. Cleans the sink perfectly. Another use is to put one pack in garbage disposal and run it to clean and remove all odors. Awesome!!

Very Disappointed
I decided to use my dishwasher for the first time and bought these and am so disappointed. My dishes come out really spotty and having to be rinsed again. What's the purpose of buying the platinum that tells you your dishes will come out spotless if you end up having to rinse them off again after a 2hr cycle?

I have tried 3 boxes of Cascade Platinum pods in Kenmore dishwasher. At least on 5 cycles, I have noted the pods coming out intact. Obviously, it did not do its job. I wonder what is the quality control and how is it guaranteed.

Used to love Cascade but now have to read fine print to make sure I do not unwillingly pick up "fresh scent" again. It is not highly visible and I had no idea that they had perfumed the product. Your food/drink will TASTE LIKE SOAP
This product is amazing at cleaning dishes. BUT… if yoyr dish is not glass, ceramic, or metal, it will leave an ENORMOUS soap build up on your dishware that comes through in the taste of liquid or food you put in the dishware! My coffee put in plastic cups, of soups stirred with plastic utensils tasted SOMUCH LIKE SOAP that i could not eat/drink the food or beverage.

Make the Plattinum Plus container Recyclable!!!!!
It is CRAZY that the platinum plus tubs are made from #5 plastic but cannot be recycled due to the metalic label. This was flagged a year ago on this forum. So for marketing reasons, this has to go to the landfill. Will not be purchasing again.

Is that Drakkar Noir scented? Diagusting
Works fantastic but that perfume is disgusting. Now all of my silicone spatulas and cooking implements are permanently scented & impart a flavor into my food. Very disappointed
No, no, no! I have seen the commercials and I do not buy “off brands” . My husband hardly ever pre-rinses the dishes so I wanted something that would clean my dishes so I can quit arguing with him.
