Floortex Ecotex Chair Mat
I recommend this product because I live in a seventy year old house with the original hardwood floors and this chair mat in my office is stylish in looks and fully functional; it protects the beauty of my floors while allowing me to roll my office chairs over the floors without inflicting damage.

Not good on hard wood
This particular product says it is for hard wood floors. It doesn't work. It moves with the chair, rather then allowing the chair to roll over it. When you stand up, it slips under your weight and you feel like you are going to fall. This happened to me and another person who sat at my desk. Returning it.

Great mat - just watch out when unwrapping
This chair mat works great on a cement floor surface. It's preventing a chair from sliding due to the "pebble-like" texture.
Use caution when taking it out of the box though, it sprung loose when I cut the security wrap and scared me.
It was fully intact, no creases or cracks and laid flat and even within a few hours on the cold cement floor.

Easy Peasy with Staples
I'd been lazy about getting a proper mat for under my desk chair. The Shop is actually build on a concrete wharf in Portland, Me. So I had to order carefully. Staples was perfect for me, no muss no fuss. The purchase was easy, delivery spot on just what Staples promised. Im a fan.

Ok but could be better.
Shipped rolled, not flat, so you have to wait for it to flatten out.After a few weeks it's still not totally flat, which is annoying.
