Simple Setup, Reliable connection.
Plug it in and it updates and is working, easy enough. Definitely steadier than my 3.0 in streaming and surfing.

Stay away, unstable connection
Better to buy other models as this one really heats up with speed and drops the speed. I have 800 Mbps and hardly get 200

Net gear Modem
Was unable to use it. Could not get it to connect with satellite. After speaking with Viasat, found out they are proprietary and had to have a Viasat modem for the system to work. Not good as it will take them a week to get the new modem to me.

Powerful
We replaced our previous Netgear router (it failed after many years) with this one and it is certainly more powerful. It is also easy to set up. So far so good. If you want power and an easy set up, this is a great choice.

Very pleased with the speed and ease of setup
We needed to upgrade our modem to run our Google Mesh Wi-Fi network. This Netgear unit was highly recommended with online reviews and the sales staff at the retailer. When I brought it home and installed it, the whole process went smoothly and without a problem. The pick up of speed was very noticeable across the whole house. We are quite pleased

Don’t believe them.
I don’t even have it yet. How am I supposed to review it?
Every time I go in to ask about it, they say it’s just shipping problems.
When they tell you that it will be there Thursday, I guess I forgot to ask what Thursday and what year.

It works
We were having problems with our cell phone calling. It was suggested that our 5-year old modem could be the cause. We bought this modem - It works fine - BUT - Did not solve our cell phone calling problems. We now have a NEW cell phone carrier. No problems yet !!!

NETGEAR Gigabit Cable Modem (32x8) DOCSIS 3.1
Decided to finally purchase my own modem and router after having enough of the ones from my ISP. This modem is fantastic. My speeds are top notch for down and up and I'm experiencing absolutely no drop in services at all. Not even during peak hours! Would recommend this to everyone.

Easy to install and setup
I was a little intimidated by the prospect of swapping my ISP-provided modem for something I'd have to install myself, but the process was remarkably easy. Took less than 20 minutes (including calling the ISP) and I was back online. Upgrading from another modem got me double the speed, finally fulfilling the promise I pay for.

Couldn’t be more pleased
Super easy call-in activation with our internet provider, within a few minutes all setup. Paired with a Netgear Nighthawk Wi-Fi router we’re finally get out gig speed like you should!!! Thanks Netgear!!

Modem works great. Excellent speed. Only problem was with Mediacom and I had to register it. Customer service with Netgear was awesome!
