Why won't Canon let us see into the Inkwell?
The 5 stars are for Staples great selection and price comparable to online pricing. 1 star for the ink. The tanks run out so fast now. Just how much ink is really in there? Aftermarket ink tanks have clear ink wells, so you can see how much ink is in there, but Canons are dark black so it's anyone's guess just what's inside. not worth it
Box says 11.4ml and the regular cartridge is 5.6ml. That is not in the product detail online. There may be some fixed wastage but the arithmetic based on ink volume suggests that regular cartridge is better value!

Authentic or counterfeit?
When I installed this cartridge in my Cannon printer the display said it was a counterfeit cartridge. When I figured out a workaround the ink status screen displayed the cartridge as empty and I couldn't print anything. Total waste of money.

Replacement printer
I try to use the original manufacturer for the printers. We were lucky you had it, we needed it immediately at that time. Never dissatisfied. Ink for a printer is a little weird to respond to, but it is working well for us.

I like the conveninence of buying it at Staples because purchasing Canon ink online from Canon is a hassle. The ink quality is good, but much too expensive. I may look for subsitutes in the future.

The ink is great. My review is the fact the cashier did not mention I had a reward which would have given me half off that expired that day. One of the reasons I go to Staples is due to the reward program. It was very disappointing!!!
