Construction Failure
Sad to say pink plastic cover construction in two pieces separated when I folded back the cover of this beautiful pink file folder. Compared the construction of the Staples product with the "soldout" other version I purchased where cover & file holder box constructed in all one piece & learned my lesson.

Expand or Not Expand
It says it is an expanding file, but it doesn't expand on the bottom. You can't put more than 2 pieces of paper in each pocket.

Not this color, or and shade of purple
Second disappointing purchase lately. My office theme is black and purple. This folder was more like Burgandy.

I like it, but...
I like the accordion file. I appreciate that it is a different color than my other accordion files so I can find it quickly, but I wish it could stand up on its own. I didn't consider that when I ordered it. Overall I liked it.

Expands but only at the top, not at the bottom, so when it's full, it will not stand up but tip over. Also, the dividers are not fastened to the bottom so small papers (like credit card receipts) could slide under the divider and not be in the divider you expect them to be.

Pocket file review
It was ok. Price point good. Free shipping, great. Timely delivery. File tab inserts didn't fit well and FEB keeps falling out. Also, it doesn't stand up on its own. I would prefer a wider bottom.

Perfect for Income Taxes
I was looking for a sturdy folder that had numerous sections to file different sections relative to income taxes. This TRU RED Reinforced Plastic Accordion 13-pocket Letter Size File was perfect for my needs. The price was a little lower than other comparable folders.

Sturdy But Doesn't Expand Enough
The "purple" was more burgundy than it was purple like shown in the photo, but I realize that may depend on monitors, etc. It has a center closure, so you are stretching 1 piece of cord to the middle. The outer shell is very strong and well-made, and the top side of each opening is reinforced (I'm guessing that's usually where it breaks).
