Why won't Canon let us see into the Inkwell?
The 5 stars are for Staples great selection and price comparable to online pricing. 1 star for the ink. The tanks run out so fast now. Just how much ink is really in there? Aftermarket ink tanks have clear ink wells, so you can see how much ink is in there, but Canons are dark black so it's anyone's guess just what's inside. not worth it
Box says 11.4ml and the regular cartridge is 5.6ml. That is not in the product detail online. There may be some fixed wastage but the arithmetic based on ink volume suggests that regular cartridge is better value!

Color replacement inks
We seem to use up the colors faster than the blacks, even though we print in black and white. It was nice not to have to buy a large new complete pack, just the full color packs.

Forget about only buying black ink
On Canon printers, if you select Black and White on your print options and think you’ll only need to purchase black ink- you’ve been fooled like me. To create the grey-scale, the printer mixes the 3 color inks.

Miss getting coupons!
What can I say? This is the only ink I can use in my printer. It works fine, but the tanks run out really fast and I hardly print anything. I get alerts on my machine tgst I’m running low for weeks before they finally run out of ink. Wondering it it evaporates lol.
