Belkin is Best
Have always had Belkin charger cords, they last many years (under normal usage). The one I had to replace was over 7 years old and was used everyday several times a day. It's well worth paying the extra above the generic price.
I highly recommend these charging cords.

Didn't work
I have a Samsung Galaxy J7 and the cable would not charge the phone. I have another cable and the phone charges with that one.

Belkin is Best

I purchased a charger for my tablet, but was not sure which one to get. The store employee in Staples in Bellerose was so helpful and courteous, I wish I had his name as he provided what is called +1 Customer Experience. He took his time with me, made sure it was the correct one. I applaud this employee for providing me the service that he did.
