defective
used for one print and then printer "did not recognize" the ink cartridge. Reinstalled and shook multiple times with no fixing the problem.

Ink Good Second Try
The first delivery contained ink cartridges that were 9 months out-of-date; the second delivery was fine; never did get the return shipping label via email (went to a store [1.5 hours away] where an Asst. Manager processed the return).

Like old times - "that was easy".
Ink is still ink, sticking with the Epson brand for years on my serious photo printing. Staples is about the best combination of price and shipping that I've found online, and (without paying extra) came pretty quick as well. So, "all good". I mean "That was easy". Best logo ever abandoned by a major merchandiser. :)

These and all other T157 Ink cartridges for the Stylus Photo R3000 printer have an approximately 1 in 20 chance of being bad out of box or after one or two prints. They are equipped with a chip that counts down the number of times that the cartridge has been called on for ink and this chip is what tells the printer when the ink is "out" but it's based on the "count" and...
