Product description not adequate
Had no idea there was no string closure. Should have read the reviews. However if the product description matched the product there would be no need to read the reviews. It's an envelope...anything I need to know should be in the description!

I had these changed from what I chose, the envelopes with the string, because of my facility. But, I don't like these.

Interoffice Envelopes with Adhesive Back Closure
These envelopes do not stay closed after three or four uses thus rendering them a complete waste of money. Spend more for the button and string closure.

Adhesive interoffice envelopes
After being used a couple of times the adhesive on the envelopes no longer sticks so to keep the envelopes sealed they either have to be taped or stapled.

Good envelopes, good value
The Staples inter-office envelopes are a good value. Good quality and good price. The only draw-back for me is that they do not have a more secure closure like other inter-office envelopes I have used (i.e. a string and button closure). In most cases, these envelopes are working fine, however, there are times when we need to send heavier items and I'm not confident that...

I've purchased these before, but I am always running out of these envelopes. These are a big help in my getting work done with many people. Will probably order more.

Trying it out
Ordered them for a tryout. So far people are so used to the string closure, they aren't willing to use. I think for a smaller amount of paperwork it would be appropriate. We shall see...

Resealable Kraft Interdepartment Envelopes
"Resealable" was not listed in the name when I ordered these online. The tie envelope are what I need. These resealable will not last for our weekly home envelopes from school, plus I now have the added step of unsealing before stuffing. Disapointed
I should have read the reviews. The 1st time I opened the 1st envelope I thought "wow!" because it was so stuck closed! But, once I added my items to the envelope & tried to re-close it...well, it wouldn't stay closed :/ they have all been about the same... some have been easier to open but, all are hard to keep closed.

waste of money
They say they are resealable well that's not true because they don't seal the first time. Bought 2 boxes and both were that way. I will never buy again.

The resealable glue does not hold. The envelope needs tape to be re-closed.

They dont stay closed!!
Sadly, I purchased the resealable Inter-Departmental envelopes because they were much cheaper than the ones that close with a string and was very disappointed in them. They did not reseal and popped right open within a minute of pressing the flap closed.
