Extendable Lamp that Does Not Extend
I purchased a similar lamp from Staples about six years ago. It worked well and has eventually worn out. I thought I was buying the same lamp again - it looked similar in the online catalog photos, but it is not the same.

The body construction is solid. However, the unit has a very short reach (about 20 inches) which is not enough to reach much of my desk.

"Silver" Desk Lamp
The desk lamp color that I had originally wanted wasn't available, so I opted for the brushed nickel style & I'm so glad I did, because it is beautiful. It adjusts well to multiple positions & is perfect for my work desk. Very satisfied.

Works Great
I used it on my work desk. Tall enough to reach over top of monitors to shine on paperwork on my desk. I tilt it just a bit away from me so not glare on papers, but easier for me to see small print.

I bought this as a replacement for one I bought about 20 years ago. So far, so good. The light is brighter. Hopefully this will last at least another 20.

Much nicer than I expected
Looked at a bunch of options - multi-dimmer, touch, super modern, etc. So glad I bought this one. Perfect amount of light and easily adjustable meaning a relatively small footprint. Desk lamp perfect for home office
I've been spending a lot of time in my home office these days and this lamp is exactly what I needed. The mounting design doesn't eat up any space and the decor works beautifully with the room. The light is bright without putting off any heat.

V-LIGHT Incandescent/CFL Swing Arm Architect Clamp-On Lamp
Metal shade keeps falling off. I had to use instant glue to keep it on. Had to use four small screws into my beautiful wooden desk to keep lamp steady. Don' t recommend this lamp if your using a fine furniture desk or table.

The clamp is not large enough to attach to a 6 ft folding table for travel or trade show
It was a bit light weight or flimsy. Not secure, so couldn’t use it.
