Watch how you fold the W-2
After preparing over 100 W-2's and sealing the envelope we noticed the employee social security number was showing in the return address window. Terrible design. I don't know who to shake my finger at, Intuit for the placement of the employee social or Quill for the design of the envelope.

Windows are too small
These spacing and size of the windows is not compatible with the 1099 form spacing making them pretty useless.

DOESN'T WORK!!
I'm so frustrated!!! These do NOT work for W-2's. The bottom window is too large and it shows the total wages/salary info! We're having to put a white label over the info to cover it up on the outside of the envelope. SO irritated as it's too late to get a replacement! Do not buy!

TOO SMALL
Bought for 1099NEC. The address does not fit in the allowed bottom window. It's one line short.

Does NOT cover employee SSN
This envelope is not compatible with TOPS W-2 Tax Form, 1 Part, 3 UP, Employee's copies. Although the W-2's fit perfectly, the window does not cover the employees social security number. Cannot use.

Envelope show employee SS number
I was disappointed when putting the W-2's in the envelopes that were designed to go with the form I ordered. When folding the W-2 on the preferred lines the employee's social security number shows just above the employer's return address. We are having to type return labels to put over every W-2 so this does not happen.

W-2 Envelopes
I was very happy to find some envelopes that fit the w-2 tri fold
but when I went to seal them they would not stick
I ended up using a glue stick to seal the envelopes. The only envelopes I had showed the social security number in the window! So, these were much better on that respect.
