Good product
First attempt to use CD labels in five years. I would rather use Lightscribe, but the technology is primitive. Label was easy to produce, did not smear, and transferred to CD wrinkle-free.

Paper instead of film - Not for DVDs
A phone call to Avery confirmed that these are paper labels and Avery recommends them only for use in CD players and 1st generation DVD players. Staples web site incorrectly stated that it is a film label made for use on DVDs. It is not.

Then & Now
My old 8692 (40 disc/80 spline) labels were heavier paper, better quality to print. My new 8699 (20 disc/40 spline) labels are flimsy and not as bright white.
