Grip
I had my last Dr Grip for about 2 years. The grip part was soft and squishy, comfortable to use. This new one the grip is hard, grippy (non slippery), but not soft.
It writes well, but I tend to grip a writing utensil with a tight grip and it will get uncomfortable.

It's better than regular pen, but not as easy to use as pen therapist gave me. Hers was just a round rubber piece that slipped over reg. Pen.

Best pen
I love this pen! With arthritis in my hands these pens are wonderful. They write really well. I have several. In my purse, desk, car and in the kitchen.I just wish you had the mechanical pencils . I’ve looked several times and can’t find one.

The larger contoured barrel makes holding and writing so much easier and doesn't bother the arthritis as much.

Solid, comfortable daily driver
Love it. Feels comfortable in my hand, writes smoothly and dries pretty quickly; I'm a lefty, and yet the risk of smudging has been minimal. I now have my everyday pen.

The pen that I love to hate
This pen would not be so bad if it were a dollar-for-dollar improvement over Pilot's own bulk 207 pens. Their bulk pens last a long time and take years before drying out. These are a pleasure to write with and have decent ink but the mechanism leaves a lot to be desired. I am fairly certain that the dollar Pilot pen bumping around in my car will outlive this one, which ...

love the grip
took a new job, and needed this pen, I've already purchased a replacement just in case, because everyone that borrows it, wants to steal it. Writes smoothly, but it's the size/grip that makes the pen. don't use anything else
