If you need a solid file cabinet, get it now!
I'm a retired office furniture buyer and have seen a lot of junk in my years. The quality of this file for the money far surpasses any budget furniture I've seen. If you can use a solid and really good quality file, I'd get this one for sure.

Unsafe tip over danger
Made of lightweight sheet metal, cabinet easily tips with both drawers open. It can tip even just having the bottom drawer open with slight weight imbalance. No anti-tip wall anchor provided.

I just ordered two of these units. One of them was fine, the other one the lock came out when I turned the key and it had not been put together properly. It took 45 minutes to get it together so that the lock wouldn't fall out and would work.
On the plus side, the slides are really well made compared to others.

Not exactly as shown
While the file cabinet appears to be very sturdy, it does NOT have the latch on each drawer next to the handle as shown in the photos.

Nice!!
For the price, these cabinets were worth it. They’re almost as good as the Hon cabinets that we bought a long time ago and they cost a lot less. The insides weren’t painted but it didn’t matter because they still look nice. I would recommend buying this product.

Same solid design but skimpy dividers
The style, weight, construction, and even the color are identical with the heavy-duty Hon file cabinet I bought about 20 years ago. But the divider in each drawer is now a piece of bent rod instead of the plate that used to latch firmly in position. Still, this is probably the best you can get for the price, and it should last a lifetime.
