Good tacks
I wanted these tacks instead of push pins because I wanted them to be flat with the surface.

Break easily
I has to move about 30 of the tacks on my board and 10 of the heads broke off.

Not reliable
Thankfully I was using these on a sample bulletin board, not something that would be constantly rearranged because quite a number of these tacks had their heads pop off. Mostly when the tack was being pushed in. They were not reliably made.

“Tactful”
I bought these thumb tacks not to use on a bulletin board, but to use on an antique piece of furniture that had a door that kept opening. A furniture restorer gave me the tip to hammer a flat head thumb tack into bottom of the shelf that the door keeps opening. I did and now I have a door that stays shut when closed!
