I always have a couple of rolls of your packaging tape on hand. I just started a new roll (Scotch Shipping and Packaging tape which says more than 3000 inches on it. Tape keeps shredding
I bought a dispenser of Scotch Packaging Tape, 84.2 Yards. It was fine for about 12 inches. After that, the tape kept shredding, a thin section constantly separated from the tape. It was as bad as the worst brand X packaging tape I ever bought. Never expected Scotch to sell such a sub-standard tape. After I get my holiday packages taped, I will toss the rest of the tape...

wasted time and tape trying to get it started
I bought 3M tape to be sure it was strong and easy to use, relying on company reputation. I've used it before and it's been great. The latest purchase, from a Lowes, is HORRIBLE. It keeps tearing up the middle and it is a struggle to get it started and find "the end". PITA!!!!

packing tape
I have used this tape many times for mailing packages and many times have had the frustration of the end sticking to the roll. When trying to find the end this time it rendered the roll useless. I threw it away.
There has to be a better way.

Best tape EVER
Once I found Scotch brand #3750 tape I've never looked for anything else!! A friend accidentally ordered #3850... what a nightmare... we shipped it all back. Couldn't get a long piece of the tape without it splitting. #3750 is by far the best! Pulls easily, STICKS great, doesn't split and I use it everywhere.

Sticking to something is the #1 requirement
Too bad this tape doesn't actually stick i have a brand new role with dispenser that doesn't have any stickiness at all

Difficult to start
I bought 4 rolls. When I attempted to remove the "caution" cardboard thing covering the blade at the performation if left about a 1/4 inch of cardboard over the tape. I finally called 3M and learned to just cut that back to the blade. Then learned the tape DOES NOT go through anything near the blade. On the box it says pull the tape "through the tabs". Challenge to get Started
I have purchased this tape for sealing boxes many times. It never gets easier to get it started. First, the little cardboard tab must be removed. If one pulls on it the larger part tears off but the smaller part tucked into the red plastic tabs stays put. Doesn't stick
This is the worst tape I have ever used. I recently moved and over 80% of my boxed popped open because this tape DOES NOT STICK.

Great!!
Grade of tape is great the dispenser is very easy to use and makes closing boxes easier.
Will definately buy again. I would have given 5 stars but the dispenser doesn't have a resting slot for the tape and if you're careless, the tape can stick back on itself causing wasted tape.

This tape is the best tape that I have ever used for shipping. I gave up long ago on the less expensive brands. This tape comes off the roll easy. Works Great
I use this tape all of the time. My family lives in another state and when I send gifts I always use Scotch Packing Tape. I have so much faith in this product. I know my packages will arrive intact and unopened. I have used cheaper products in the past and there really is no comparison.
