Great, but check quality
This is our favorite notepad to use in the office. I'd suggest checking all notepads in the order for quality. At least 3 of the 12 have defects where the lines are not printed correctly. It's been months since we ordered so we can exchange them but now have at least 3 notepads we can't use.

Good quality - all around
Pad backing has a good stiffness that doesn't require a clipboard. Paper thickness is better than average - if anything, a little on the heavy side. Sheets tear off cleanly.

Quality paper rules
There are cheaper pads, but they feel cheap. This one is made of quality paper that doesn't bleed through, and the backing is stiff enough that you can manage without a clipboard. A small luxury!

Ampads
Work for a law firm and these are the only legal pads the attorneys will use for taking notes. Have been using this brand for years. They won't use anything else. Very good quality.
