Staples Gummed Closure Kraft Catalog Envelopes, 6x9, Brown, 100/box (534693/17097)
The gummed closure was not what I thought it was going to be (one where you pull off a tape over the gum when closing the envelope). The gum needs to be wet to close, but not too wet (it will not stay closed).

Excellent economy envelopes
Excellent choice for mailing half sheet or single fold documents, as well as items like sets of note cards or other envelopes. Paper is a fine thickness, and takes labels and stamps well. I see no reason to spend more for another product. Not having a brass clasp is a plus as well for mailing. The gummed adhesive seems to work fine, although for mailing a thicker packag...

Cheaper to Mail!
I like the gummed closure rather than the clasp as it costs less to mail. The Post Office charges extra if it has a clasp because it won't run through the machine.
