TOO old
Bostich B8 staples no longer exist for our old stapler. The new ones are longer and the clerk and I tried to find a match, but no luck. Staples service was super, just not effective for our needs.

Thank you for reaching out to me. I bought B 8 staples for a stapler almost as old as me. My mom & dad bought & all 6 of us used growing up...I have it now, & my grand children think it's funny looking, a staple remover attatched. Wow, try buying one of those these days...It's solid metal...I special ordered the staples for it, as I have not been able to find ANY.....

It's pretty
It's pretty, looks really nice and is heavy. But, the action of stapling doesn't seem very smooth to me. It works properly - hard to explain.

Bostitch B8 staples
The box says the staples are good for 2 to 45 sheets. Not true. They twist around and the sharp points come back out the front of the paper, even with as many as 10 sheets of paper. They are very strong staples and very hard to bend the sharp points down so no one gets stabbed.
