VERY DISAPPOINTED
If you are looking for a mat that will have a stable surface over a deep pile carpet, I highly suggest that you look somewhere else because after much time studying the catalog Staples offers, this was the best I could identify and it is inadequate.

Beware X 2 if you order this mat for delivery
Mat delivered swaddled with commercial shipping tape. Hell to get sticky off..Goo Gone X 2, alcohol, and then soap and water X 2. Shame on Staples. Non-stick wrap would have worked perfectly.

Could be made if heavier material
Lightweight mat starting to get dents from weight of office desk chair already. Using on a very low pile rug. Time will tell how it holds up.

This Chair Mat is made of a very soft clear plastic-like material. Because of this, the caster wheels of my task chair make indents into the surface of the mat, making it difficult to roll the chair. Better than I expected
I wasn't expecting much when having to replace the worn out mat I had. It's doing better than I expected and tis would be the type I choose when I have to do it again, or if things change and I need a second one.

Not stiff enough
The whole purpose for getting a Carpet Chair Mat is to make it easier to slide your chair. I've had this mat for less than a week and it's got dents under the wheels so deep I can barely move the chair. My previous mat lasted years and had to be replace only because it was starting to crack with age. It cracked, but it didn't dent. Wish I still had my prior one.

Why would you send me this?
You delivered the correct item but it had a giant "54" written on it in permanent marker! I tried to scrub it off but the ink wouldn't budge. How ridiculous that I, your customer, would be required to remove writing from a BRAND NEW floor mat. You should be embarrassed that you delivered this to our office. The next one had better be in pristine condition.

Carpet Chair Mat
Must be the wrong carpet chair mat. This mat looks like the one I replaced. The last one lasted 4-5 years. After 7-10 days the chair wheels are sinking into the floor mat.
