Folders aren't blue
I will be contacting Staples for a refund. These folders are purple, not blue like I ordered.

Does the job
Not a high-end folder, but holds paper securely and serves the purpose. The tiny metal rings become loose and break off easily.

New version of a discontinued item
In the past, I ordered Quill #712823 (1.6 oz., solid blue inside and out). Apparently they are discontinued . My last order substituted Staples #901-578553 (lighter at 1.4 oz, blue with white interior). I think the price is about the same. The Staples version is a little flimsier. Will I go elsewhere? No. The Staples version is not awful, just not what I expected.

STURDY
I love how sturdy the covers are; they stand nicely.
However, it was odd having them open up backward in the box.
We had to refold each one which makes them not want to stay closed unless they are wedged between other folders.

Faded not navy color
These folders look old and not at all the clean and dark navy pictured here. We ordered two boxes full and received very faded and folders looked old. Fasteners were flimsy and not attached to actual folder. Please do a quality check in your warehouse shipping this item.

Yes, would recommend the product. It is very flexible...you don't need to use the fasteners to "load" the folder, let the recipient do that if they wish.
