Reliable Folders
These folders take alot of abuse and they hold up. I have many patient files and over the last 9 years have only had to replace about 5 from wear and tear.

Not meant for medial charts: needs to be of thicker card material to withstand more than 5 pages. very poor quality cardstock as well as the clip

Client Files
These files are a necessity in our office as we have thousands of clients and must keep their records for 7 years. This format allows to put numbers and dates on the side of the file for easy access and confidentiality.

Not my favorite!
I usualy use the Smead brand for my manila file folders. Once I finish the box of Staples folders, I'll stick to the Smead.
I like Smead better because with the flick of a finger, I get the fasteners at a straight 90 degree angle, which facilitates the insertion of my papers.
The fasteners on those Staples folders are flimsy, they bend too easily and not where they are ...

Just as Good
First time using staples branded file folders and in comparison to the SMEAD brand, it is pretty much the same. The advantage is that it comes in 150 per box versus 50 per box and that you can order it online. The disadvantage is that you can NOT find it in regular Staples stores which only offers SMEAD.

Best value end tab w/fasteners folders
We use these folders in a home medical equipment company. They are handled and re handled frequently. They have held up without needing to be replaced over the years extremely well.
