Are you smarter than the cork board?
This product got a lot of undeserved negative flack by people who didn't understand how to properly mount it. This is raw cork and it's better suited towards people who have a knack for thinking outside the box, and want to make their own custom board. I will admit, this product is marketed wrong. Don't Buy It!
The mounting tabs included with this product are all defective. The paper will NOT peel off the sticky tabs. I had to buy 3M mounting tabs to make this product work. Once on the wall I discovered that the cork is not thick enough to use push pins to hold even a single sheet of paper. Think twice before purchasing.

Gross
Not only did these break easily, the stink coming off them was disgusting, not to mention the brown dust all over my hands. Returned immediately.

Lousy product...
Fell apart upon opening package, not enough stickers in package, weren't up 2 days before falling off one by one.

Beautiful!! But…
These were so pretty! But even during the unpacking, they felt flimsy. In just separating each tile, they started to crumble and break. Hoping it was just a bad batch, but for the price shouldn’t have been an issue.

awful smell when opened
Not sure if I got a pack that was in a fire but once I opened it and let it sit there a minute, it took over my whole office. I had to go over all the furniture with disinfecting office cleaner to get the smell out of the office. (threw away. waiting to see if replacement just as bad)

Overall, the product is nice. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because in the instructions it tells you to break apart the adhesive squares and place 1 in each corner and 1 in the middle of each 12 x 12 cork board but they only give you 16 squares. Great way to cover up an ugly office wall!
These are great for covering up an ugly office wall. You can buy a few or a lot and cover any size area you want. I purchased enough to cover a 4' x 8' section. It looks fabulous. Push pins work great with them.

Will purchase again
We have used these tiles for numerous message centers in our offices. They work well and are easy to install. The only complaint I have is that when you have to cut to fit a tile it is hard to get a clean edge because the cork has a tendency to crumble. But overall a good product and the dark cork looks great in modern decor.

Self stick pads were not able to be peeled off for adhesive
Self stick pads could not be peeled off for adhesive. Had to use my own double sided tape to install tiles. Will take back to store for refund,,

these were easy to use tiles. they look great once they were mounted to the wall. we use them in our kitchen to hang things off of. I think anybody could put these up and really like how th push pins hook into them and stay there. I found that the color work well in a warm enviroment and really enhanced our wall. Do not recommend!
VERY messy! It sheds little pieces all over the place, and the mounting pieces don't stick to the cork. The backing is also really hard to get off. I'll be replacing these!

They will do the job I will order more
I liked the fact that I could make my own cork board to the size I needed. Product smells like smoke (strong) and the tack strips included are hard to get a part.

Could serve a purpose
Like I said above they smell like a campfire. It doesn't bother me as much but the girls in the office hate the smell. I'll probably have to take them down and replace them with something else. Also they shed so there are little pieces of cork on the floor below where they are hung.

I would give these zero stars if I could. I had intended to use these as a bulletin board behind my desk. I wish I had read the reviews before buying in store. No wonder they were on clearance.
