Trying to print from FAX
I had all new ink jet cartridges (black and color) in the machine and could not print any of the seven pages I was trying to print. Disappointed. It may have been the machine, cartridges or operator. Have to get a young one to look at it.

Brother Toner
Needed a black Brother toner ASAP. Called nearest site to where I was staying and was told it was at the store. I was able to drive the 10 miles to West OC to get the toner. Very good service

Have to have it
You have to have ink for your printer and this works for Brother it is just very expensive as in my printer only cost me after discount 35 dollars 2 years ago and yet this one black ink cartridge cost me approximately 30 dollars. Printers are cheap, manufacturers make the money by gauging you on the ink knowing that you are locked in to buying their brand of ink.

Great ink for great printer
I only wish that they still made the same Brother printer for the time when I’ll need a new one.
I tried the refill cartridges thing once and had trouble so this ink and printer are very reliable.

Ink seems old
3/5 That is it. Ink is not dark and crisp even after cleaning tank. Seems old. I hope it doesn’t run completely dry too soon.

Good basic ink cartridge for fax machine
No issues with the LC51BK ink cartridge for my Brother fax machine. It lasts quite awhile for me as I fax infrequently. I'm glad I can still find this ink as it is for an older model. Staples had it in stock and they have quick delivery.
