Ink smears very easily.
If you are planning to write on the tabs ‐ the ink smears very easily. I tried writing on them with several different types of pens and they all seemed to smear umless you had time to let it sit there without touching it until the ink dried. Other than that they seemed to work well. Stuck to paper good and was still able to easily remove it from the paper without any...

Very disappointed
I decided to switch from name brand to Staples Stickies to save some money (we use a LOT of these flags). These are very hard to write on with ballpoint pen, and if I try w/permanent marker they smudge horribly.

Pop stick slick quick
What can I say that hasn't been said I love these things they stick like they're supposed to pop up great and you can even draw a little faces on them and make puppets for your grandchildren highly recommended if you need flags that pop up and are yellow and if you need to of them in a package

Sticks well, but is removable without damage to paper - which is exactly what I needed for this purchase. It is transparent enough they served as sort-of removable, temporary highlighting. They were much better than the other colors/brand I tried.

These things are very useful.
Everybody was using post-it notes as bookmarks until I bought these. These are cheaper.
