I am very satisfied with this mat. The medium pile thickness matches my carpeting perfectly and the beveled edges are exactly what I wanted. I am also pleased that the manufacturer, ES Robbins, gives a lifetime warranty against cracking. The $95 price including tax, is more than I was planning to spend, but in the long run I feel there is good value for what I paid.

Your chair leaves davits in it, so you can't roll.

Does its job
The mat fits its space very well, and it's nice and smooth and sturdy. I've warn out even "lifetime warranty" mats before, so I'm hoping this one stays smooth and sturdy for a long time.

Carpet chair mat.
Ample size for desk chair, sturdy yet flexible. Bottom has nubs that stay solid in carpet, but do not cut your hand when handling. Very good product at a reasonable price.

Disappointed
I was trying to replace a chair mat that I bought a while back from Staples. It developed divots from my chair wheels. Within a week of buying this one, the new mat again has divots preventing the chair from rolling smoothly. I'm disappointed in the quality.

That is fine. It works well with my new carpet.
I bought a new desk and chair from Staples and also a new carpet mat. I had a thicker carpet put in my study and needed one that was for a deeper pile. It works fine. It was a little bit larger than my old one which I was looking forward to.
