It was defective
As soon as I plugged in the switch, it changed my IP scheme on me. Switches aren’t supposed to do that. You plug them in and the are only supposed to repeat the traffic and let the router assign addresses. I will be returning it to the store shortly.

A little pricy but does what it should
Straightforward… plug the device into power, plug in the internet cable, and then you can plug in multiple devices or even more switches. I plugged in the ethernet cable from the internet in the wall to the switch, then was able to hook up our Apple TV, Xbox, desktop, laptop, etc directly to the wired connection.

Solid build, reliable performance.
There is not much to report, it's an unmanaged switch, you just plug it in and it works. But the point is, you JUST plug it in, and it WORKS. There are no "oops/maybe/not-this-time" uncertainties, nor any complexities about connections or use.
