Quality Notepad
This is my first time purchasing the Ampad Notepad, and I’m thoroughly impressed. The paper is good quality, easily absorbing my ink pens and they tear neatly from the pad. In addition, you are able to take notes, flipping pages over, with them still being kept intact. One of the best notepads Staples sells.

Poor Product
Lines seem double printed. Paper thin and hard to tear out. Pad came to me scuffed up. Good cardboard backing. There are better products out there. I have seen a trend to cheapness in Staples products....and less options for branded products. Becoming CVS in that regard.

Legal pad

The paper is fine to write on hard to tear smoothly
When I was in school many years ago it was easy to tear off a sheet of paper cleanly. I can’t believe we have lost the ability to make legal pads that tear cleanly.

The pad is fine and does the job well. I would prefer to have more of a selection when I go into a Staples. The only notepads Staples sells are its own brand and the pad I purchased was 80 sheets not 100. I did not see 100 sheet pads, only 50 and 80.
