There isn't any flow with them, It's like writing with a pencil that needs sharpening.
They leak.
The writing appears like the pen is running out of ink.

They leak... they stick
Out of the box, maybe half of them don't have some kind of issue. Had several leak as well as the mechanism to retract get stuck regularly. Not what I expect from Pilot products...
As for the ones without issue, they are indeed sharp and easy to write with. Too bad about the issues. YMMV

Great pen!
I use this product for all my writing needs in my Quality Assurance/Control tasks. It writes smoothly, the ink comes out evenly and has lasted a long time, the grip is soft, the retraction is easy, the pen is light overall and it looks great (tricked out paint job).

A Smooth,Comfortable,And Economical Pen!
At first,I was worried about this pen having a "FINE" point as concerning the ink flow,smoothness,and instant start up as I'm a fan of the 0.7mm medium point pens!
