i like it, works good and the plus button doesn't stick and it doesn't go to sleep after 7 minutes and have to press C button to wake up. I had purchased a Canon because it was on shelf and I need one. The Victor works like they are supposed to.

Display cuts off numbers
The display on this calculator is curved and if you use the calculator to the side at arms length the bottom of the numbers are cut off from view. Very disappointed really wanted to use. I even tried placing paper under the back of the calculator which allowed me to see the whole numbers but makes it unsteady if you are fast at inputting numbers. Returned

doesn't order

Dead out of the box

+ & = key didn't even work after one day
would not recommend the main key stopped working after one day. just don't make them like they used too.

Love this machine!
My old calculator was a Casio and I used it for many many years until it finally died in me the day I sat down to do my income tax return. Ugh! I ordered the Victor at 3:30 pm and it was here the next day before noon!

Calculator works as expected
I like the fact that it has a separate Clear and a Clear Entry Key also an back arrow key. The tax calculation is great. The fact that it doesn't need a separate power adapter was one of the deciding factors in my purchase decision.

Great Calc
I have an older model of this particular Victor model at work and decided to purchase the same model again so that I can have one at the house as well for when I work from home. The new one is quieter but has all of the same functions as the older one. I just need to find the roll holder arms for the older one.

at the top right of the key pad, just below the display screen there is a sliding tab. the tab reads A01234F. sliding this tab will move your decimal.

The display screen is too small!
I like the calculator except that I can not see the decimal point on the screen. I have tried to prop up the calculator in the back and I have not found a good position yet.

Love my Victor!
I had a Victor 1240-3A calculator for several years and the print/tape quit working and I replaced it with another 1240-3A. It works great and is so much quitter. I love mine.
