Problems solved
Tried using a recycled cartridge but it was defective. Bought this official one and now the printer works great. Package arrived very quickly. Ordered Wednesday and arrived on Friday.

Leaking toner
This was ordered to replace an almost new one that was leaking powder in the printer. What a mess.

Expensive Ink
I've had this printer for years now. The only issue I have is the cost of the toner's. You have to buy through Dell and it is EXPENSIVE. Every time I buy, it seems like the price increases. Its very unfortunate. The shipment is quick, but its the cost that is making me re-think another printer.

Cost of toner
I have have been buying these replacement toners for 9+ years. They work great and my printer has not skipped a beat. The only problem is the cost. With replacing the toners over time I have spent hundreds of dollars over and above the cost of the printer. Dell does not discount these. I can't find another printer that uses cheaper toner. Easy to Change - lots of copies
This cartridge is easy to change and the directions are a snap to follow. They used to enclose a pre-paid mailing address to return the used cartridge but they no long do that. You have to turn it in at the store or go online and print a label. Nice copies.

The Dell Toner Cartridges are the best when it comes to quantity and quality - consistently. Staples always has them in stock and we never have any down time due to lack of toner.

Performs as it should
Dell laser cartridges are the only ones to use. i have tried replacement brands and they leak and don't give you the number of page yield.
