another failure
Unfortunately this Swingline stapler failed right out of the box. As did the previous ones. The brand spends time to make them pretty, but the staplers always jam and eventually you can't even open and close the refill tray. In spite of bad review, I bought it and sadly it's going back. Again.

Worst electric stapler
Can't open the refill tray. Everyone in the office has tried to open it and it's stuck. Threw stapler in the trash. Junk.

Simply Amazing!
I file a lot of paperwork. The Optima staples flat resulting in papers lying flat in the binder. It's so nice not having the corner all bunched up!

HUUUUGE!
I can't leave a thorough review on this one because I had to return it, it was huge! I have no doubt that it is a workhorse. This would be good for heavy stapling and it is very heavy and sturdy.

Swingline® Optima® Electric Stapler, 70 Sheet Capacity, Silver
this machine is good but easily to brake. for the price that we were paying for this machine is very expensive and lasted for 8 to 10 months. Its not worth it. when staples got stock it's hard to clear it. I think they need to improve the staple holder where you refill staples. that is always the problem and always this part brakes.

Poor
After four tries with this stapler, we moved on. Two units failed after limited use, one arrive broken. When the stapler chose to function, it was great. This model is very unreliable.

Swingline stands by their products
The Stapler works great. It made our high volume stapling job much easier. When we've had problems, Swingline has been terrific about quickly and honestly resolving them.

Works well, but use correct staples
I have found the trick to getting the best use out of this stapler is to be sure to load it with the correct staples. While general staples will fit, you will not get high capacity out of them, and eventually they stop working altogether and you have to reload. With the correct staples, the machine is more dependable and efficient.

I love my new Swing-line Optima Electric stapler. I had a hand stapler I had to use if I was stapling more than 25 pages. It was very had to press down on when you were trying to go threw 35 or 40 sheets, but now I just put it under my new stapler and it is a piece of cake, even if I have 75 pages to staple, it works fantastic. Constantly Breaks
I have ordered 4-5 of these for my company. It works great for about 4 months and then it breaks. You would think for over $200 you would get something better. I will try another brand.

Big Disappointment
Constant jamming. Returned machine and they sent another one, same model. Again, constant jamming. Ended up ordering an Isaberg Rapid #5080 electric stapler and it works great! No jamming and has strong staple power.
