Get maybe 1700 pages yield, if lucky
This toner does not get anywhere near 2300 page yield! HP claims its yield is "reasonable" at 1500-1700 . We are replacing this toner 3 times more often than the last model of the same printer. Very disappointed

Didn't fit printer.
We ordered this toner, because it said it would work for our printer, just make more copies. Tried to put it in the printer and it has a part that sticks out about 1/2 inch longer than the printer, so it didn't fit. Would have been great having more toner, but didn't work out.

Beware - Not compatible with P2035!
This cartridge is NOT compatible with P2035. The labeling is very misleading and, unfortunately, the expensive lesson is not learned until the ribbon is pulled and the item not able to be returned. This should be flagged at the time of ordering. It is only compatible with the P2055.

DIDNT FIT MY PRINTER!
My printer uses HP 05A so when I saw the 05X high yield I ordered it. But it did not fit in my printer!! I had to return. So make sure it will work for your model!

TERRIBLE DON'T BUY
HP quality has gone WAY downhill. We're thinking of dumping all of our HP printer products due to so many issues. And don't try to contact HP for help. After being on hold for 30 minutes, they disconenct the call.

Staples only had one HP05X. There were no HP 05’s. I use 10-12 double toners each tax season. I have used the product for many years and I am very happy with it.

Staples says this a replacement for HP 05A BUT IT IS NOT!!!!!!!
My HP 2035 printer can't use this cartridge but it uses 05A.

So overpriced
HP needs to make these cartridges more affordable. It is ridiculous that you can get an off brand for a quarter of the price. I guess this is how HP keeps in business. Staples needs to look at carrying other off label brands so that customers have options.
