Tripp-Lite is the only brand I'll spend my money on to protect my equipment!!!! X brand was a great product at one time but it seems they farmed out production and quality suffered but it's still a worthy competitor. I won't buy a (u know which brand I can't inject here) if I can get my hands a Tripp-Lite product. I have at least half a dozen or more Tripp-lite devices ...

I have been using these for twenty years.

A Classic
This is built like a tank. I trust it to protect my expensive electronics, and I love the look. The right-angle plug is perfect for plugging it in behind furniture.

Any of the Tripp Lite Isobar Ultra series are downright fantastic. This is a top of the line product in its class. The metal housing makes for a longevity-oriented scenario.
The diagnostic lights can really come in handy when plugging in equipment in an unknown environment for the first time.

Bought it based on personal experience with other isobars
Bought this one primarily for lightning protection. Have had extremely good luck in the past. During a recent near hit lightning event all devices on isobars survived with no damage. High quality protector that performs
These are absolutely great surge suppressors. I have been buying these since 2011 and had 1 fail, from 2011, and just a quick call to the Tripp Lite professionals and I had my replacement within a week. This is a great power filter
We use it as a power filter and extension cord. It does both really well. The 25ft cord is very useful and not as stiff as other surge protectors we have. It is very resistant with its metal body; and also the 90 degree plug is useful to use it behind a desk.
The only drawback with this multi-outlet is the separation between them. It is quite tight.

The 825 ultra works great in my feed room connected to a electric fence controller. But is surpassed by

Reaches where I need it
The 25 foot surge protector was just what we needed in our office. Sometimes outlets just are not where you need them for the best placement of equipment. With this unit we were able to place our printer where we needed it and still have it protected from power surges and lightening. Isobar Surge Protector
This unit works great.... We had three systems being protected using IsoBar units during a lightning strike a few weeks back and no damage. The only damage done was on a system using a different manufactures strip. It now, is protected using this IsoBar unit.

Love It!
I bought my first brand-new computer and wanted a top-notch surge suppressor to keep it safe.
All my exhaustive research led me to Tripp-Lite.
I chose the SOBAR825ULTRA because of the long cord. The outlets in my apartment are oddly-placed, and now I can arrange my furniture any way I want.
