VERY DISAPPOINTED
If you are looking for a mat that will have a stable surface over a deep pile carpet, I highly suggest that you look somewhere else because after much time studying the catalog Staples offers, this was the best I could identify and it is inadequate.

Works for me!
So far, so good. Fits perfectly, and looks good, I don't feel like I have had it long enough to rate sustainability, but will let you know if I run into any problems.

Buy a floor model
Well, we got the wheels locked into place....
And that is where it stopped. The arms are not lining up with their coopesponding holes for the screws.....and the directions are written wrong. I am actually trying to ship this chair back or take it to the nearest Staples and let try to but it together!

Expected better from medium pile carpet mat
Quality of the mat seems good it’s just not as hard a surface as I expected for a medium pile carpet mat. Because the mat is thicker than the one I owned previously, the divots created by my chair are very deep as I’m working throughout the day and it becomes impossible to stay out of them. Not as sturdy as I expected
I'm not very heavy (170lbs.), and my office chair has five casters so the weight is well distributed. However, the chair still sinks into the surface when used on a medium pile rug making movement difficult.

Not Very Rigid
Mat is too flexible to go over my carpet. Chair sank into carpet. Now I weigh 215 so maybe that is the issue.?.

I'm 250 pounds
Initially bought low pile but the wheels made divots in the mat that where tough to move chair out of. The medium is thicker and firmer and holds up to long gaming sessions. I put the medium close to desk and the low behind the medium and now can roll from desk to get stuff off the bookcase on other side of room.

Better than my previous.
I like bigger studs so the chair mat stays in place. Unlike my previous chair mat which shifted around. Also, my chair rolls around better on this mat than my previous mat.

Not like the previous ones I owned
The mat creeps along my carpet, even though I I have selected the proper nibs for the pile of my carpet. Previous versions worked a lot better but are no longer available in store.
