It's NOT black
Doing a scrap book and mounting pictures, notes, etc. on black on construction paper. What I recently received is NOT black when I compare it to what I have been using. It is more like a dark green. Poor substitute for black.

Pacon paper
Our department has been using this construction for quite some time now. Our staff teaches nutrition at schools, day care and senior centers and use this paper for projects for their teachings. Will continue to use it.

Paper is exactly as advertised. This was not in stock in local store and was necessarily ordered online. Unfortunately it was ordered in error and had to be returned for refund. Refund at the local store was quick and easy. Would recommend Staples stores for any stationery needs.

Colors seem a little faded
We got gotten this packet for the office to mostly use the red sheets but also have the other colors to use as a background color. The reds and blacks are more of a dark pinkish and charcoal gray. The sheets are a bit thin as well.

Useful to insert in loose-leaf clear sheet protectors
I use these to insert in loose-leaf clear sheet protectors for photos and whatnot. The black construction paper needs to be trimmed to fit. Otherwise it works just fine.

I had looked around in other stores and they couldn't even compare.
At Staples I was able to order the paper all in one color and not have to buy a package of assorted colors that I couldn't use. Not only that but the cheap price was unbelievable compared to the other stores; especially for the great quality.

It was great! I used it to do an Arts & Crafts project. I did pastel pictures and they show up great on black construction paper. It was 40 sheets that came in a pack for very cheap. It was great!
