Disapointing
I had a CM1000 and tried to replace it with a CM1200. The 1200 went from 40mbps to 420mbps and back to the slower speed. I was lagging in a number of online games. I took the 1200 back and put my CM1000 back. I am now looking for a replacement that will take full advantage of the speed I am paying for.

Problems Solved
Replaced my existing cable company equipment with the Nighthawk and just like that three years of problems went away. Great product.

I am along time Nighthawk user
My new modem is extreamly fast and it works well with my R8000 router. I expect a long relationship with them and my new wifi6 RAX120 router.I like the app and security of great products.

Does Not play well with Xfinity
I have had this modem for several months and it has turned into a dismal failure. I made the mistake of thinking that 4 ethernet ports meant you could connect up to 4 devices. Wrong. This unit does play well with the Netgear R8500 router. When ever there is a power failure, you must reboot each device again separately to establish communications again. Never got go...

Excellent modem
Super fast, easy to setup. Works extremely well, highly reliable. I subscribe to 400 Mbps and I’m streaming at 759 Mbps regularly

Issues after the first month
Bought back in March, started having issues in April. Went back and forth with Netgear and our internet provider to try and fix the issue but it took weeks. Easy install, setup and connect
Upgraded previous from previous modem purchased few year ago. Noticeable connectivity and speed improvements. Running smoothly for past few weeks, no issues.

Great cable modem and app easy to set up

Better instructions
Now that it’s hooked up and running we are pleased so far. Better detailed instructions would have saved me a lot of time on hold… not everyone is computer savvy. Otherwise it is set up and running well

Much Faster than ISP Gateway
This router and cable modem combination from Netgear is something I should have had a long time ago. Increase speeds, great coverage throughout the house. All you can ask for!

A super modem
Made the break from a rented cable modem and after some research decided to get the Netgear CM 1200 modem. Great on its own, I added Netgear’s Orbi6 router w 2 satellites. Now I have string, outstanding WiFi coverage in my home-and cable is on the way out and streaming services are already purchased. Very satisfied w my purchase and the performance of the system.

Super speed modem
Using it for Xfinity blast plus: getting super speed without dropping. Can use only 1st port as Xfinity provides single IP per line. Do not know any use of other three ports in future. But, liking the performance of the modem.

Good once you get it going
Netgear had this very sucky setup. Once you get it going, everything stays the same for YEARS. Very stable. Wish the setup was as stable and easy as the operation is. Also, little more documentation on LACP is appreciated

Works well
Purchased due to cable company stating the Netgear I had would not handle the service I desired. This works awsome when the cable complany does not decrease the speed comming into the home.
