It does the job well
My last laptop bag was probably 7-10 years old and falling apart (not swissgear). I couldn't find anything with similar format for pockets and such and I chose this bag based on what research I could do online. I was a bit concerned about space, since I didn't have physical access before purchasing it. It arrived before a business trip and I was pleasantly surprised....

Defect Replacement
This was my 4th Swissgear backpack. The unit was identical to previously owned units but the material at the base started coming apart after less than 6 months. I reported it to Swissgear and followed their procedure for reporting it and they replaced it with no charge. They have excellent product and they stand behind it. Love it
I had purchase this same exact item about 10 years ago. I would pack anything and everything in it for books to handbags when traveling on plane. Started having an issue with the fabric tearing away from the zipper on the 2nd and purchased the same style and color(with a few new upgrades I see) again.

Surprising comfortable
I use this for work. For some reason the same stuff I put in my last pack seems lighter and smaller in this pack. I also love all the pockets and the buckets for the side mesh pockets. Prevents my thermos from falling out. Unfortunately they are too small for my water bottle to fit. Maybe that can be changed for the next model. Overall, this is a great pack so far...

Amazing customer service for an incredible product
My son received this backpack as a gift from his college wish list. He used the bag all of his Fall semester but toward the end of the semester the seam tore on the side of the backpack making it unusable. The rest of the bag was in perfect condition which showed it was a defect and not negligence on his part. I emailed customer service and they replied within an hour. ...

Best bag EVER!
I bought this for my husband after a trip and he wanted a bag for traveling. Our son has had a Swissgear back for the last 6 years, using it all thorughout high school and now while traveling! Has held up and you get what you pay for and MORE! Would recommend any Swissgear backpack.

Exceptionally backpack!
I bought this bag about 1 month ago. I loaded it about 2 hours before I went to the airport, checkin and went to my gate. Everything I Need
I got this backpack to replace a much older SwissGear ScanSmart that was falling apart after MANY years of good use. This new backpack is an upgrade. nicely built
Recent purchase, took it on a weeklong vacation and it performed as expected. It's got a LOT of pockets and separators, but not a lot of room for larger items.

Overall ok
It,s a good looking bag but zippers are a little tricky. Doesn't open easily. Great storge for books and laptop but that's about it. Side pockets are a little small

Great backpack
So far, this backpack is perfect. Even though I don't have an iPad to put in the iPad spot, it can hold my laptop with no problem on the outside of the slot. There are enough pockets to put all the things I need in them. Love the zipper pockets on the side.

Exceeds expectations- READ my review
I researched and researched and researched and then narrowed my search down to Swiss Gear or Carhartt. MAN, am I glad I went with Swiss Gear! This pack build quality is excellent. Pockets for days, zippers are great, sturdy, overall super excited with my pick, and I’m super picky! If I had to do it over again, I would x1,000,000,000 and then some more.

Great quality
I have used the pack for a month, zippers and material appear to b great quality. Pocket layout is not typical and is taking a bit to get used to.

Worked well
I bought this for travel use and it worked well. Convenient pockets worked extremely well for my travel needs. Wasn't sure it was large enough for what I wanted, but the size was ample. Two gripes. Works as advertised. Rugged backpack.
