Unrivaled protection for the new iPad Pro
Just upgraded an old iPad Air to the Pro 11. The old one was in a Defender case since day one. Perfect condition, not a mark on it. It was used in a pretty rough garage environment for much of its life. You’d never know though.

Difficult to install
Pretty good for protection but difficult to install. No installation instructions are included. The YouTube videos are not helpful, they seem to be for a different product. As a result, it took longer to install than was necessary. However, all is well that ends well. We got it installed without breaking anything.

Doesn’t fit iPad Pro 2024 (M4).
Just purchased a brand new 2023 iPad Pro (M4) and this case is too small. It fit my 2023 iPad Pro but not this one. Very disappointing.

Great iPad cover!
This iPad cover was different from what I’d expected - and so much better and more cersitile. I wanted a cover that supported horizontally or vertically work. This is great plus provides very durable and light weight protection for the iPad.

Good tablet protection
Very good case for my tablet. First one was defective, but Otterbox customer service was amazing. Replacement was sent immediately and is perfect.

iPad broke with the new Defender case
My iPad broke in a few weeks after replacing an older defender with the new defender. The old defender had a rubber flap for the pencil and the new one has a hard plastic flap. The damage is on the right side with the plastic flap. The case doesn’t fit as well as other defender cases. The gap tolerances around the ipad aren’t tight fitting.

Not what they used to be
I have defender series on multiple tablets in the past and have loved them. So when I purchased my new iPad 11pro naturally I bought a defender case to go with it. The case works great, but there’s issues with the stand. When trying to stand the tablet up in the vertical position, it does not want to stay after a few seconds the tablet tends to fall over.

A little disappointing
I have used Otterbox on all of my devices and have loved every one. However, this is not up the standards of previous cases. There is door to access the charging point for the Apple Pencil on the iPad. This came off. When that door is open there is a space between the build in screen protector and the iPad screen. Wouldn’t buy anything other than Otterbox.
Usual Otterbox built-like-a-tank quality. Would have been 5 stars if there was pencil storage other than with the cover on.

I do not like how the side of the case flips open for the keyboard as I do not have that option. It is hard to clip in and out of the hard plastic portion of the case that detaches. Other than that I like it.

Great product
I love the defender series. I have them on all my apple products. It does make the iPad feel heavier but it’s a small price to pay for protection on a $1000 tablet.

Screen, port cover
