Star Tech VGA Splitter
So I went to the local Staples store to inquire about what I needed to set up two monitors on my desktop and I was told all I needed was to get a VGA Y spitter. NOT! The cpu needs to have the correct video card to enable the cpu to recognize the second monotitor. The splitter was not in stock so I had to order. I could have ordered everything at once if I had known, now...

easy set up
I wanted two screens in the same room separated so I could work at one desk and do home and bills at another. The splitter works great.

I was unaware that the
I was unaware that the splitter cable would have both monitors would be mirror images of each other. I wanted to be able to see something different on each screen. This splitter was not what I needed in order to accomplish my goal.
