Just what I needed!
Just what I needed! My old graphics card decided it had enough, and started to fail. Since I don't do gaming, but I do use software for photography, this fit the build. Now I can calibrate my monitor once again.

will not buy Radeon again
I was very dissappointed, I loaded all the recommended drivers and could not get my computer to recognize 2 Gb of ram. It was no better than the 1 G Nvidia I had before so I returned it and went back to my old card

Nice upgrade
My Dad's video card went bellyup so I pulled mine from my desk top. I ordered the VisionTek and was supprised to see such a noticeable difference in video quality. Wish I had shitched cards long before now.

Won't boot with card installed
Seemed like a good deal -- but I've tried two cards. I figured the first one was defective and returned it, but my HP computer won't boot with either installed. Drivers up-to-date and all that. Another HD-5450 card, but with much less memory, works wonderfully well in the same slot. FWIW, Staples made the return/replacement really easy, at least the first time around...

Good Card - brought my PC back to life
This card does not need any other power connection. My original card that I was trying to replace had a power connection.

I can now use HDMI with my Optiplex 320

New video card
Per AMD, this hardware is not updatable. It is what it is, but at least I have video. I was hoping to improve my video quality when I bought this. As it turns out and even though Dell recommends it for my machine. It is not an improvement over what was already there.

This unit rrplaced my driver board but with no upgrades to my video, therefore would not play the game i had ordered it for even though the Dell Technicisn said it would. Therefore, i felt like i had thrown my money away.
Replaced my current driver.

Dual monitors
I bought this for my wife. She is a graphic artist and needed dual monitors. This worked out perfectly.

ALmost..but not quite...
Firstly only subtle differences noted when installed in a Optiplex 780, into the pcie card slot. Transitions do seem a bit quicker and for some reason loading quicker as well.
My only issue was the Dell website indicating that this would specifically fit the 780 and the DT model...but they should know (you would think as they make them that the DT has the short slots s...

this visiontek radeon 5450 is great!
it has a great price for all you get! it plays my games on high settings and smooth graphics for the first time i can play games on high settings! stuning it has a great power saver on it so it don't use a lot of power! and it doesn't cost you a lot to use it. it doesn't have a fan on it so you can't hear it runing! if you have a computer that it fits buy it! it's the g...
